Read more+ d magnificent villas dotted around landscaped gardens. Some of these villas were simply huge! As we entered no. 4 we were greeted with a lounge of cathedral proportions. A stunning full height room towering up to the rafters. At the far end the glazed wall was folded back so that there were unobstructed sea views. I gather the villa was designed by Philippe Stark and it shows. All the rooms were huge and incredibly high ceilings making it cool and with a feeling of peace and freedom. The kitchen also opens up onto a seating area where we loved having breakfast , again with fabulous sea views. The area around the infinity pool was beautiful and the sala (covered open area with sunbeds) a relaxing base to watch the pool and admire the sea and island views. The TV room was also huge but we did not use it . Everywhere was well and tastefully furnished. The house keeper was great and most of our meals we ate in because we did not feel the need to leave. The restaurant, Breeze, was a 2 minute walk and had a good lunch and dinner menu and an unusually good wine selection. We also went to the hotel on the complex which is beautiful and again brilliantly designed. We will definitely stay here again.
