Villa Location
On a rural coastline on the south-west of Bali, a little slice of heaven awaits at the outskirts of a sleepy village named Cemagi. Entrenched in local tradition, with borders of rice paddies and golden sands, plus views across the Indian Ocean to the ethereal Uluwatu with its crashing waves and mystical temple, you could be forgiven for thinking you have arrived in paradise.
Step onto the sands of your own isolated beach from the timber of your own terrace, or explore the island and visit some of the nearby destinations. Alongside Uluwatu, other world-class surf spots are easily accessible with Batu Bolong, Echo Beach and Seseh just a short drive away. Golfers rejoice as Nirwana Golf Club – one of the best courses in Asia – is just an 8km drive while Tanah Lot, another of the famed sea temples, lies just next door.
Whether you will want to jeopardise your inner-peace is another question but Seminyak is just 15km away and with a driver at your disposal, perhaps one night of debauchery will enhance the luxury you have at your fingertips.

Unique Features
A haven for spiritual enlightenment; release life’s stresses through morning yoga in the poolside balé before enjoying the guilt-free indulgence of the raw-food menu that the two private chefs of the villa specialise in. Only eat vegan and organic? These are the chefs for you, although they are more than willing to pull out the stops and lavish the more traditional Balinese banquets on guests – the choice is yours.
The indigenous architecture of the pavilions is a sight to behold, few villas manage to maintain the authenticity that Taman Ahimsa succeeds in capturing. There are no surrounds better suited to the art of relaxation than those of tropical gardens and vaulted bamboo ceilings, of open-air pavilions and star-speckled skies.
A driver is on standby to ferry you around the island at your demand but we are yet to find a guest daring enough to step into the world beyond this oasis of calm.
